About My Neuro Edu Programs

"I fundamentally believe that neuroscience should be both actionable and accessible, woven into the everyday spaces where real life unfolds.

After my breast cancer diagnosis in 2022, I saw a critical gap:

What feeds the brain feeds the body, but the key factors that truly make a difference are often:

  • Lost in dense academic jargon

  • Too complex for a single social media post

  • Largely misrepresented by non-experts

  • Nearly impossible to navigate in a world strategically engineered for constant distraction.

Understanding what protects our brains should be clear, practical, and affordable for everyone.

These insights belong in our living rooms, our workplaces, and in the everyday spaces where we love, struggle, and grow.

But in the face of information overload, algorithm-driven misinformation, and inaccessible academic paywalls, the gap is rapidly widening between groundbreaking neuroscience and the practical tools people need to turn it into everyday, meaningful insights.

I founded Synaptic Harbor to bridge that gap, combining my expertise as a neuroplasticity researcher and college-level educator, specializing in how the brain learns and adapts, with practical, neuroscience-backed programs for everyday life that I wish I’d had when I needed them most.

I bring cutting-edge neuroscience from lab-to-living room through engaging, down-to-earth workshops and talks that help people build resilience, restore balance, and make sense of their brains in practical, meaningful, and actionable ways.

My classrooms live far beyond traditional academic walls, you’ll find them in libraries, breweries, and community spaces.

These are the beautiful, accessible public stages where real, actionable learning unfolds in real time."
